USEFUL TIPS

when the school is open ?

From March to November.

Kitesurfing is possible all year round, but the best period is from late April to late October.

In summer, wind is very steady, around 15-20 kts, almost every day from midday. In winter, you need to be well outfitted, but the wind statistics are also very good.

how to move around marsala ?

For budget-minded people, you can rent bicycles on the spot (we’ll be happy to guide you). A new cycle lane joins the port of Marsala to Lo Stagnone, so you can do all your travelling by bike.

You can also rent a car from the airport. We recommend that you check the car rental websites before arriving, carefully reading their terms and conditions. The advantage of renting a car is that you’ll be able to get around easily, not only for shopping and other purposes, but also for visiting the surrounding. For example, you can taste “la genovese” in the medieval village of Erice, explore the thermal baths and temple of Segesta, or the Zingaro natural reserve (coves, short hikes, turquoise waters). Don’t hesitate to ask your instructor for more information: he knows the area well.

WHERE ARE THE MEETING POINTS AND how is organised a lesson?

The meeting points for lessons are located at Lo Stagnone, or the little harbour of San Teodoro.

Lo Stagnone: VFW8+FXW, 91025 Marsala TP

Porticciolo San Teodoro – Stella d’Oro: Contrada Birgi, 91025 Marsala TP

We advice people to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the appointment, so we can welcome you and introduce ourselves.

We’ll give you all the equipment you need for the lesson. And let’s get started !

At the Lo Stagnone spot, you can eat and use the toilets provided by our partner. At the harbour of San Teodoro, toilets are also available, and your instructor will take some bottles of water on board.

All details required for your booking will be sent to you by Mail.
